Learn all about copyist art from Vicky Zhou at our VAS member meeting on June 11 at 7pm
Vicky Zhou is an award-winning Plein Air painter. With a career spanning 30 years as a licensed architect, Vicky has now redirected her focus and energy towards her true passion. She loves to capture the beauty of architecture and landscapes. Painting outdoors lets her experience and preserve the spirit of a place in real time.
Vicky began the Copyist Program in the fall of 2023. By recreating masterworks in a variety of styles, she not only learned technical skills but also gained valuable insight into art history. The program ultimately sparked her passion for pursuing oil painting.

Floral artist Jill Welch of Fairydusted demoed her art at our VAS member meeting on Thursday, May 4t
Jill will show us how she layers texture, color, and form to transform simple paper into whimsical, nature-inspired botanical art using recycled and eco-friendly materials. Everyone is welcome to watch the magic and spread some springtime joy.

The Vienna Arts Society exhibits the original artworks of regional artist members in several locations in and around Vienna. You’re invited to visit three galleries next Sunday afternoon to meet artists and enjoy light refreshments.
