The public is welcome to attend all our 3rd Thursday Open Houses, which are held at the VAS Art Center located at 243 Church St NW, 100LL in the Windover Professional Building in Vienna.

All are welcome to the VAS member meeting & free demo on Thursday Feb 12 at 7 pm. Jodi Condes, VAS Artist of the Year for 2025, will share her art journey and process in a world that sometimes feels uncertain and chaotic. Jodi is an acrylic artist who continuously experiments with new subject matter and style. She paints both representational and abstract art,, always looking for beauty that persists beneath the surface. You won’t want to miss this uplifting demo and her beautiful art. 

 As Jodi explains, "each piece is an evolution. I never know where it will go. For me, a successful final painting is less important than the fun of resolving technical problems and letting unexpected things happen.  

 Jodi regularly exhibits and sells her work, and her paintings have been recognized with multiple awards.

 Mixed-Media, abstract artist Precious Burger will be presenting at the VAS January Membership Meeting (Thursday), Jan 8 at 7pm). Precious will share her art journey and demonstrate her intuitive “call and response” process that embraces mistakes and the “messy middle” of life.
