Explore the art of contemporary paper floristry with local floral artist Jill Welch
Working with artist-grade crepe paper, you’ll begin with a simple flat sheet and transform it into a beautifully sculpted realistic everlasting garden roses. Along the way, you’ll learn foundational techniques in shaping, coloring, and assembling petals—skills that can be applied to a wide variety of paper flowers beyond tulips.
No prior experience is necessary. Whether you’re new to paper arts or looking to expand your creative practice, you’ll receive step-by-step guidance in a supportive, art-focused environment.
By the end of class, you’ll complete at least one finished bloom and gain the skills, templates, and materials needed to continue creating a small bouquet of your own everlasting blossoms.
All are welcome—bring your curiosity and a creative spirit.

Lee Weeks explained how to use phone cameras to take quality photos.
In this 2 hour photography workshop, participants learned how to use their iPhone camera app to take quality pictures of their work This class was geared for people familiar with the camera on their phone but who want to learn more editing techniques and lighting options.
