Urban landscape artist Sarah Baptist paints the unnoticed beauty and inherent juxtapositions of city life. At the recent VAS member meeting and artist demo on 10/10/24, she shared her journey from stage design to full-time plein air artist. Her rapt audience learned how she sees and captures the visual poetry of mundane urban settings. Her work has won several awards, is shown in local galleries, and has been featured in “Plein Air Magazine” and other publications.
