Treasury of Art –April 5 to 7 –Vienna Community Center

The Vienna Arts Society is bringing back the very popular Treasury of Art to the Vienna Community Center for a long weekend April 5 to April 7.

The juried art show and sale features artworks from both local artists and artists from around our nation.  Leigh Culver a teacher and museum curator will be the juror for this exhibit.

The art events, this weekend, are the beginning of community activities planned later that help celebrate the 50th year anniversary of the Vienna Arts Society.  There will be music both Friday and Saturday evenings, raffles, awards, and an opportunity for the community to meet these artists. Open to public, free, so come and bring your friends.

The mission of the Vienna Arts Society, established in 1968, is “to bring together area artist, to share interests, enrich their own experiences in art and make creative contributions to the community.” The VAS maintains visibility in the Town of Vienna with regular exhibits at several public and commercial venues.  They hold meetings each month with programs often featuring active artists demonstrating their art and techniques that are open to everyone.
