The Vienna Arts Society welcomed Rajendra KC to its recent monthly meeting on March 14th at 10:30 at the VAS Art Center.
After a short business meeting, Raj gave a fascinating demo of his watercolor technique, which combines his passion for nature and for painting.
Raj moved to Falls Church from Nepal, where he studied art and developed his unique style and his love of plein air painting. Raj is an active teacher in the area and in season paints every Saturday at the Farmer’s Market in Falls Church. His paintings have won many awards, including Best Architectural Award at the 2023 Gloucester Arts Festival Plein Air Invitational in Massachusetts.
