Questions and answers, new things about VAS
———–
“Using VAS digital tools” program following VAS meeting 7:30 pm on January 10at the VAS art Center.
VAS is keeping up with the digital age. We have our information available for you on line. There is an Artists Gallery page that is an amenity with your membership. You can sign-up on line to ful-fill your gallery sitting volunteer obligations. Soon you will receive a request to enter the Treasury of Art Exhibit digitally.
Do you wonder what size your pictures need to be in order to send them to show on line? Would you like to represent VAS in a social media application? Do you need encouragement to access social media or Amazon Smiles? Yes, VAS does benefit from using this app.
Bring your Questions and Answers, we will be entertain them during the demonstration on Thursday, January 10 at 7:30pm. Nesli Esen, our VAS webmaster and Donna Grone, VAS web editor, will be on hand to help up to become more comfortable with digital tools.
Send questions and topics to drgrone@aol.com before Jan 9.
Update:
We were happy to see so many members participating at the lively program regarding Digital tools at the meeting on Thursday evening. Donna Grone did an overview of navigating our website. She showed us how to find VAS documents, schedules an programs that we see noted on our E-Blast. Lu cousins gave remarks on the use of EBlast and comments about VAS on Facebook. Yes we have presence on Facebook, so do log on and give us a “Like”. Nesli Esen our web manager and overall guru shared information about extending our social media presence, marketing, how the different social media apps apply to different needs and some tips for safety for your information. Finally there were many questions entering the Treasury of Art show using CaFE app as was presented in your recent E-Blast announcement.
There will be follow up digital help sessions held at the Art Center during the Afternoon hours. Times to be announced.
