The Global Children’s Event at Wolf Trap was a youth-oriented event dedicated to performing, visual, and interactive arts from around the globe. The event provided opportunities for children to learn about world cultures through art, song, and dance; appreciate nature; and learn actions they can take to protect our world.
The Vienna Arts Society hosted six “Art Around the World” projects where visitors could create and decorate Spanish clack fans, West African Adinkra prints, Worldwide masks, Japanese fish prints, Mexican ornaments and Native American totem poles.
