Greg Staley took photos of several of our artists works. He answered questions in regard to How to take a picture of your work and keep it square, and what to do about glare.    He will be holding a photo session for VAS artists interested in having their work photographed at the Art Center on November 29. There will be a $10 charge per artwork. Call VAS Art Center to reserve your space.

Photographer, Greg Staley will be our guest presenter at 7:30pm on November 8th at VAS meeting in the Art Center.  He will talk about photographing your art for publicity and portfolio.

About the Artist:  Greg Staley has traveled to over 30 countries, but for the past 25 years has lived and worked as a photographer in the Washington area.  His clients include museums and architectural firms in the mid Atlantic and Northeast US.  He has taught photography in the Washington area as well as in  New York and China.  He is a graduate of Pratt Institute.

He lives in Silver Spring, Md. with his wife Virginia and his son Steven.

Mr. Staley will return for photo sessions  on  November 29th 12 – 3 pm to do the photography for you. It’s a terrific opportunity to prepare for the Treasury of Art Exhibition sign up starting next Thursday at the art center.
