Her work has been excepted into juried shows including the Nature Visions Photo Expo in 2014 and again in 2016. Ms. Cochran has also won many awards including 2nd place in the 2015 Town of Vienna Photo Show.

MEET THE ARTIST:  Featured Artist, Julie Cochran, is an artist who is blessed with a wonderful “can do” spirit.  In spite of the fact that due to cerebral palsy Julie has always had to make extra efforts to master physical movements and activities most of us take for granted, when Julie took her first class in photography, she not only learned how to simply take a picture, but she went on to master the art of creating award winner fine art photographs. Julie Cochran will be at reception held at the Vienna Arts Society Center on Friday, June 16 from 7-9 pm.

The next exhibit will feature Madeleine Chen. The show will be installed on July 30 and open on August 1.
