Our vintage 1900 building is included in the annual Walk on the Hill: Sunday, April 30, 2 – 5 PM, so VAS is expecting 100 visitors the final weekend of our spring show.  Members are invited to participate by painting “plein air”  and photographing the gardens in our surrounding neighborhood that afternoon.

In addition, VAS will hold a special “small works” sale that weekend on Saturday; 2 – 5 pm and Sunday from 10 am – 4 pm. Artists will bring one “small work” (sale price under $100, and size 144 square inches or smaller) ready to display.

Coming up at Meadowlark Botanical Gardens

May 1 – June 30

Once again, the staff of Meadowlark has invited VAS members to exhibit artwork related to flora and fauna in their beautiful entrance building. Space is limited, and members have been signing up on the clipboard at the Art Center. Hayden Luczka, chair of the show, will be sending details to interested artists in the near future. Entries are now full.
