WOW! Joyce Myers really pulled this one off!
Bravo to Joyce, who created a real team spirit using her clever idea toggled to a hand built riding train engine built for her friend’s son, Noel.
Joyce and Roxanne Himmelberger worked over Labor Day weekend to create the basic “cars”, then Joyce embellished them with lights and balloons and engineered a system allowing members to wear them. Joyce also brought friends on board to get all the parts in place at the right time.
A true logistical coup!
A huge thanks to Larrissa Tung Berry, who drove her fabulous red BMW convertible at the front of the line, allowing Harris Miller and Lu Cousins to greet the 20,000 revelers lining the streets.
